Kitchen Fit-Out
Ian's Schedule

Property: [add address] Contact: [add name & phone]

Companion to the main schedule of works — this covers the kitchen fit-out end to end. The order below matters: every design decision sits in step 1 because two of them lock the worktop cutouts, and the extractor is ordered first because the hood can't be built without the unit in hand. Solid squares are Ian's; dashed squares are ours.

1

Agree & Order

Gates everything below

One sitting, all decisions. Nothing downstream can be locked in until these are.

2

Build Pantries

Gates building-regs sign-off

The electrician won't sign off the extension until the pantry wiring is in — so this step holds up more than the kitchen.

3

Template Worktops

Units and pantries fixed in position first. Every cutout locked: sink, hob, Quooker tap, island sockets. Allow 1–3 weeks fabrication after template.

Fit Worktops & Appliances

Hood & Finishing

Coordination points

Electrician: pantry sockets and lighting (step 2) unblock his compliance sign-off — he's confirmed he's happy for Ian to arrange the remaining wiring.

Plumber: needed after step 4 for the gas connection to the hob and the sink waste.

Us: worktop material and handles both land in step 1 — chase us if we're the hold-up.
